Never was interested in even attempting oil painting, mostly because of the dangerous chemicals required for clean-up. A few years back I read about the innovation of water-soluble oils and thought, “How!?” Oil and water don’t mix! But luckily much smarter folks than myself discovered that by using a different kind of oil and altering the paint at the molecular level, these new oil paints could be mixed, thinned and cleaned up(!) Using WATER! EUREKA! So after a couple years of being dissatisfied with the luminosity and saturation of my acrylics, especially when looking at abstract oil paintings, I decided to give it a try. I’m so excited and inspired by the first result, there may be a huge surge in my artistic progress and production! Stay tuned!
