I’m a Raleigh, NC native born to good NC native parents in 1967. You know, when dinosaurs walked the earth and Fred and Barney ruled the bowling alley and everything was in grey scale, before colors! So I was probably watching my 2 older brothers color and draw things for school, and tried to copy them like I did anytime they did anything. I couldn’t even write yet, but showed promise of a talent, and with paper and pencils being fairly cheap back then, I was supplied with plenty of fuel to occupy my time and keep me out of everyone’s hair! So along the way growing up I have tried some different hobbies and a couple of sports that definitely weren’t my strengths, and other than taking up drums at 9 years old, this is the only talent that I have always returned to. I eventually got married and had a child. And even though I wanted to be a great person, I eventually made huge life lesson mistakes. I’m only human. But through it all there is always 1 constant; Without music and art and my gorgeous daughter, I am undefined, incomplete, and empty.
